Job description

Sound Designer — Bring Stadium Motion Content to Life Through Audio

At AIM Sport, we bring digital signage to life on football’s biggest stages — working with the world’s top clubs and brands to create impactful in-stadium content seen by millions. Our work appears in over 300 stadiums globally and features alongside giants like Real Madrid CF, Paris Saint‑Germain F.C., FC Bayern Munich, Adidas, Heineken, and Mastercard.

Our Creative Studio in Madrid is a vibrant, international, and collaborative space where motion designers craft sleek, high-impact visuals for digital signage and LED environments. Now, we’re ready to give those visuals the sound they deserve.

We’re looking for a Sound Designer to define and elevate the audio layer of our motion work — someone who can craft polished, brand-aligned sound design that hits hard in a stadium context. You’ll be working closely with motion designers, producers, and brand teams to create sonic identities that make visuals truly resonate.

Job requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Create sound design and audio mixes that enhance short-form motion content for stadium and digital signage environments.

  • Develop dynamic audio stings, transitions, impacts, ambiences, and branded soundscapes tailored to large-scale playback systems.

  • Edit and mix voiceovers, SFX, and music stems to match precise timing and brand requirements.

  • Collaborate with motion designers to ensure tight sync and audio-visual impact.

  • Maintain consistent audio levels, loudness standards, and technical quality for playback in high-volume environments.

  • Manage and organize audio assets, templates, and reusable sound libraries to streamline workflows.

  • Define and document internal audio guidelines and delivery specs for signage playback systems.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Strong portfolio of short-form sound design or audio post-production work.

  • Proficiency in professional audio software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or equivalent).

  • Skilled at creating impactful audio for visual media — especially branding, motion graphics, or advertising.

  • Good understanding of loudness standards, compression, EQ, and mix quality for playback on large sound systems.

  • Excellent timing and a feel for audio that supports, not overwhelms, visuals.

  • Collaborative mindset — comfortable working closely with motion designers and producers.

  • Strong file and project management habits.

Nice to have:

  • Experience mixing audio for live events, broadcast, or LED signage systems.

  • Familiarity with motion design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) and basic knowledge of how audio integrates into animation workflows.

  • Background in branding, sports, or advertising environments.

  • Experience creating or curating SFX libraries.

Why Join Us?

  • Your sound design will be heard in some of the world’s biggest football stadiums — in front of millions of fans.

  • Be the first dedicated audio specialist in our team and help define the studio’s sonic identity.

  • Work in a collaborative, international creative team in Madrid, right across from Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

  • Enjoy a friendly culture where your craft has visible (and audible!) impact.

  • Perks include coffee, fresh fruit, team outings, and annual events like our Christmas party.

Application Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a hands-on session at our Madrid studio, where you’ll work with existing content to showcase your sound design approach and workflow.
