WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

AIM are looking for a Senior Accountant with the mindset of a business person, willing to grow and take on more responsibilities in future. 

We require someone independent, and flexible, with the ability to think out of the box, while respecting certain guidelines/frameworks. Able to clearly express ideas and quickly grasp complicated situations/questions, independence is essential


Job requirements

Day-to-day duties

  • bookkeeping of transactions in the financial system

  • performing the Swiss payroll and the related bookings in the system

  • Swiss VAT and tax declarations (if you don´t have the knowledge, we are looking for someone eager to learn!)

  • tracking of bank movements and reconciliation, including cash analysis reporting

  • preparing quarter-end reporting and statements

  • managing financial data consolidation

  • quarterly reporting

  • driving the audit process with auditors

  • coordinating and preparing financial statements


Projects

  • designing reports for management

  • evaluating the effectiveness of accounting operations

  • analysing business performance by revenue channels every quarter

  • supporting the successful implementation of a new Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system

  • assisting the Head of Finance on different ad-hoc projects


Experience 

  • 3+ Years experience in Finance

  • Previous experience in the sports industry will be a plus but not essential

  • Graduated with a business degree

    • An Accountancy qualification is a bonus but not required

  • Highly intellectually curious yet think in a structured manner while maintaining a fine appreciation and respect for creative solutions.

  • You have excellent communication skills.

  • You have good business acumen reflected in qualities such as persistence and initiative.


Requirements 

  • C1-C2 level of English

  • C1-C2 level of German

  • C1-C2 level of Spanish (optional)
