We are assembling a select, tight-knit group of individuals to join our company as a Club Manager, the first point of contact for our prestigious European club partners.

What will you be doing?

  • Run the day-to-day management of assigned football clubs with a particular focus on the implementation of brand activations during football matchdays
  • Consult and help your football club to increase the return on investment of their commercial rightsholders by organising live workshops in their stadium
  • Fulfill duties as a venue manager during the home matches of your partner clubs for both national league as well as UEFA matches
  • Support the business development team in the acquisition of new clubs for the AIM club portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with our international club management team to guide and accompany the matchday process actively
  • Manage and lead on-site matchday crews ensuring the highest club satisfaction during (inter-)national matches
  • Support the brand business development team by improving the digital perimeter appearances of commercial partners (sponsors) at your club

Job requirements

  • We offer a full-time position in our Madrid club management team, which is open to graduates with business, marketing, media, literature or legal degrees. Previous experience in football will be a plus.
  • You are a GERMAN native speaker who is digitally savvy and has excellent communication skills in ENGLISH (any additional language is a bonus)
  • Proven ability to provide strategic oversight and guidance in event management
  • Experience communicating with top-tier clients with an ability to think quickly
  • Highly organized working style with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong work ethic, teamwork and flexibility
  • Process-oriented self starter approach, with ability to track and keep projects on schedule, manage tight deadlines and shift priorities at a moment's notice
  • High energy, ability to remain focused on goals, resourceful and successful working independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excel at building relationships
  • Detail-oriented and process-oriented ways of working, as a self starter with ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Enthusiasm, passion for and a strong interest in sports, entertainment, advertising, and learning more about sponsorships in football
